I am a bilingual journalist interested in telling the big stories of our time through unexpected characters. In my reporting, I have focused on the intersection between the War on Drugs and public policy both in the United States and Colombia. For seven years, I have covered conflict, transitional justice, environment, and politics in Colombia. My work has been published in Mongabay, La Silla Vacía, Berkeleyside, and Berkeley Science Review.

In 2023, I was selected as a FASPE (Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics) fellow to study the role of journalism in the crisis of democracy.
